- What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 2:00pm, and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
- Can I check-in early?
Early check-in is NOT possible. The Property Owners need the time between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to properly prepare their units for your stay.
- Does Sofroney Real Estate accept credit cards for rentals?
Not at this time.
- Where do I pick up keys?
In our office at the corner of 42nd and Landis Avenue. Check-in is a quick and simple process so we advise that you have your family drive around the block while they drop you off to pick up keys or use our NEW EXPRESS CHECK-IN SERVICE.
- What is Express Check-in? How do I use it?
Express Check-in is our newest service, designed to get you your rental package and have you at your rental unit in a flash! To use our Express Check-in Service you must have:
-PAID YOUR BALANCE IN FULL
-A Cell Phone to call our office
When you are entering Sea Isle City call our office at (800)SEA-ISLE, and let us know you would like to use Express Check-in. We'll ask the Last Name of the Reservation, and the color and type of vehicle you are driving.
Go Straight on JFK Blvd. through the light at Landis Ave. Make a Right onto Pleasure Ave., and then the first Right onto 42nd Street. We'll meet you outside on 42nd Street next to our office with your Check-in Package and Welcome Bag.
- Do I bring my unpaid balance to Check-in?
Yes, and the payment must be made in cash, or certified funds such as a money order or certified bank check. No personal checks will be accepted at check-in. All payments must be made in full or no keys will be disbursed, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Can I pay my balance before I check-in?
Yes, we recommend that you pay your balance prior to check-in. Paying in advance makes checking-in very quick! Paying in advance also allows you to use our NEW EXPRESS CHECK-IN SERVICE.
- Where do I mail my payments?
Our address for all correspondence is 4201 Landis Ave., PO Box 185, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243
- What should I bring for my stay?
You will need Linens and Towels for your stay. On your lease and our website you will find the bed sizes designated so that you will know which size linens to bring.
- Does Sofroney Real Estate have any rentals that will accept pets?
We do have a few properties that will rent to families who want to bring their pets. By clicking the "allow pets" button on our rental search page you can view all the properties that rent to families with pets.
* Please note that some Property Owners will charge a fee, while others will only ask for an additional deposit.
- Are beach tags provided with my rental?
No, however some Property Owners do provide them as a courtesy, so be sure to check your unit upon your arrival. If they have been left for you, please be mindful to return them to the unit at check-out.
- Where can I purchase beach tags?
You can buy beach tags at the office located at 23 JFK Blvd. right next to the Library. You can also buy them from the beach tag officers who approach you on the beach.
Wednesdays are Free Beach Days-no tags necessary!
- How can I reserve for next year?
We do take advance reservations, you'll find a form on your check-in package for this purpose. Advance reservations require that you either roll over your security deposit, or write/send us a check for $100 to hold your reservation. *All reservations are subject to Property Owners final approval.
- Does Sofroney Real Estate rent to groups?
We do have Property Owners who will rent to groups. By clicking the "allow groups" button on our rental search page you will see a list of Property Owners who accept group rentals.
- When will I receive my security/damage deposit back?
Security/damage deposits are mailed out 30 days from the day you checked out. Phone deposits (if required by Property Owner) are mailed 45 days from the day you checked out to accommodate phone company billing cycles.
- What should I do prior to checking-out of my unit?
All rental units are cleaned prior to your occupancy. We ask that you leave the unit as clean as you found it when you vacate. This includes removing trash (keeping in mind that Sea Isle City does recycle and those materials need to be separated), wiping down the kitchen and bathrooms, and running the vacuum. Also, please remember to empty the refrigerator, and check under the beds and in closets for your things!
- What are your hours?
Our office is open Monday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm We are closed on Wednesdays.
- Does my unit offer internet access?
Sofroney Real Estate does represent a few property owners who provide wireless internet access at no additional charge. Please check your lease or call our office to confirm.
- My unit does not have internet access, where can I access the internet during my stay?
If you have a wi-fi enabled laptop, you can use the library's hot spot for free. You will need to sign a policy form and receive a user id and password. In the event that the library is closed, Coffee.COMedy on JFK Boulevard also has wireless access, although a fee may apply.
In the event that you do not have a laptop, but will need to access the internet during your stay with us we do have a computer in our office that you are welcome to use anytime during office hours.
